Dr. Schutz 2K PU anticolor extra mat is an extra matt 2 component PU coating with increased resistance to coloring chemicals (eg hair dyes, disinfectants) for long-term protection of elastic floors, parquet and cork floors and mineral concrete look floors.
Application Dr. Schutz 2K PU anticolor extra mat
Floors made of PVC, central heating and linoleum with a smooth, slightly structured or grained surface as well as ex-factory PU floors, as far as matched with the manufacturer of the floor and therefore recommended. Suitable for wooden and parquet floors, as well as for cork floors with a minimum raw cork density of 500 kg / m³. Also suitable for the sealing of mineral tested concrete floors we have tested and released or for restoring old ones
rubber floors (please contact us for technical advice). Not suitable for conductive floors. Determine the applicability for safety floors, highly structured surfaces and bubble floors in advance per object. Follow the maintenance advice for the floor in question.

The floor must be dry and clean, free of dust, grease, oil, detergent and maintenance residue. Thoroughly shake the packaging of the coating and hardener. Add hardener to the coating and mix both components immediately by shaking thoroughly. When partial packaging is mixed, always coat and hardener in the 4: 1 ratio, adding the hardener to the coating. Space, floor and processing temperature 18-25 ° C. Relative humidity: 40-65%.
Leave the mixture of coating and hardener for 10 minutes. Then roll out evenly on the floor with our Large Paint Roller (work with a highly absorbent surface from our paint box or Paint Bucket). Starting on the basis of the incidence of light (ie as a rule on the window side) and working away from the light, in order to be able to assess the surface during processing and to immediately repair possible errors. In this case, spread the coating in max. 1 meter wide paths transversely to the light incident (ie parallel to the window) with the roller and then evenly roll out in the direction of the incidence of light. Always work wet in wet, but avoid puddles.
After sufficient drying time (approx. 2 hours, but within 12 hours) applying the coating mixture for the second time When drying for more than 12 hours (between the first and the second layer), the floor must be ground with the PU Sanitation pad in between. When treating wooden floors, the floor must always be ground between 2 layers with a single-disc machine and a grit mesh 100-120, to remove upright wood fibers and smooth the surface. Remove grinding dust thoroughly. After drying the second coat layer (at least 12 hours), the floor can be walked on carefully. The final resistance of the coating is reached after approx. 7 days at room temperature.
